So It was a nice but rather cold Friday afternoon in Early February 2008 when we arrived at our destination - BRI Maternity ward for our long awaited induction. All seemed to go smoothly, & Moya got admitted into a small but cosy room shared by 3 other patients. The room seemed to be nice and peacefull until visiting hours arrived , when the entire population of Bradford tried in vien to squeeze into the little room being as polite and un-obtrusive that only the Bradford residents can be.
However after several anxious hours of waiting and pacing up and down aisles and anywhere else we could pace, Moya was eventually told to get some sleep and with it I was Kicked off home.
I was suddenly awoken at death O'clock in the morning by my alarm clock followed shortly by the long awaited call from Moya- "I've Had a show, and I am going down to the delivery suite". As I am sure you can imagine my bowl of Rice Krispies was launched into the sink, swilled my mouth with scolding hot tea and i was off, a rather confused nurse eventually let me on to the ward even though visiting hours hadn't started. Only to find out that the Delivery Suite was full so they wouldn't stretch staff by allowing any Induction's until all had calmed down.
Another 12 hours later I am still sat waiting although we have now been moved to a private room whilst we wait.
Again I Get sent home about 21.00hrs and told to get some sleep - of course that was the only thing on my mind!!!, Eventually I did get a little sleep, and all to soon the alarm bell sounded for my return leg of this now familiar journey. On my arrival to Moya's room I was geeted by one of the most amazing sunrises I have seen in Bradford.

This proved to be a wonderfull omen as only a few hours later Moya was being wheeled down to the delivery suite for the immenent arrival of our daughter.
